If you wish to experience a Russian facility in the 1980's with nurses treating patients and staff as peasants under Communist rule, then this is a definite must see. Vladimir Putin would be ashamed of the way the "Registered Nurse" staff treat anyone else with a college degree. A Bachelor of Science in Biology means that person is probably smarter than the 18 - 24 month Associates degree in Nursing many of the DCI employees in Management possess.

Overall, DCI Knoxville, and the surrounding clinics in East TN under the supervision of it, are weighted completely on the Nursing side. Dialysis is both a Nursing, but more importantly, a Technical procedure that is constantly evolving. The Nursing side of the equation has forgotten this, and the Technical advancements and refusal to employ Technicians with Electronics Degrees leave the patients with a sub-par treatment. The administrative and managerial nursing staff finds it more acceptable to have higher mortality rates than spend the funds and change the culture allowing persons with a college degree other than one in the Nursing field to have a positive, mortality improving role. As a Physician who once left this particular said, it is populated by "Controlling Bitches", bad enough a physician left in protest.
