they can't keep good help, because they find a reason to get ride of them or they drive them away by making it hard for them to work there. they really need to keep the good aides.

This clinic is closed due to a fire in the summer of 2008

I have been here and it does'nt bring me hope. I came here homeless from the street and the only time im allowed out is on the weekends sat 4 hrs family/mom time and sun 4 hrs kid time. I feel as if im walking on egg shells to find a job with no resources such as bus fare are dependable tranportation from the van available for me as a single mother without any income. Im greatful for a place to stay but i never knew id be treated as if i were in prison during my one year commitment to Hud transitional housing.

We have an uncle with Emphasima and post polio dissablities that has been allowed to urinate on himself and left for quite some time when all he needed was nurses aid. He has a tracheotomoy and is only being checked once a day by the "only" respiratory therapist (who forgot for some time today) while she was eating lunch. His neice had to rinse it for him so that he could breath again.

I am comparing services provided by private for profit operators and non profit organizations to services provided at John J Foley in order to determine possible alternatives in the event the facility is closed or sold

Is anybody concerned that the food is not the type of food that should be given to senior citizens. I have seen food that is not soft enough or small enough for people that are young with no teeth, let alone seniors with little or no teeth. The manner in which I have seen the food served is to me unacceptable. It is ridiculous to watch dietary people come in the dining room. with no hair nets slop the food on plates and to have cna's go around to pass out food to whomever they pick, as oppoosed to having the food on plates when brought into the dining area. I have come to the nursing home at different times during the day and have noticed the lack of enough cna's watching, I mean really watching the residents you have some that are genuially concerned but others that just stand around not talking to the residents or interacting with them. I think the Renaissance is more concered with outward appearance and has lost what should be its main concern the residents.

You can get through almost anything without drinking,abusing pain killers, using drugs or perscribed medications. It takes patience,prayer, mediation, and a will to enjoy the life you can have completely sober and do the things you enjoy.

They seem to think..that if an aide is sick its ok to infect the patients
