i just want to thank this hospital for pushing my brother over the edge by not even having the compassion to prescribe a decent pain medication for his abscessed teeth and lacking any compassion. I have no money and been trying for months to get him in a free clinic and have tWO more chances next week but they would not even provide enough help to keep him out of pain until then. he has no drug seeking record or ever had pain meds prescribed but still treated like a drug seeker instead of a person in pain wanting help. He has undiagnosed aspergers that I informed them of and THERE LACK OF COMPASSION WAS THE FINAL STRAW CAUSING HIM TO THREATEN SUICIDE. I DON'T SEE HOW A ER CAN BE CALLED AN ER WHEN THEY TREAT PEOPLE LIKE GARBAGE INSTEAD OF REALIZING HOW HEALING IT CAN BE TO ACTUALLY LET THE PERSON THINK THEY CARE AND GIVE THEM ENOUGH MEDICATION THAT THEY FEEL LIKE THEY HAVE SOME HOPE AND A PLACE TO TURN. WHAT IS THE HARM IN ACTUALLY GIVING ADEEQUATE PAIN TREATMENT AND SHOWING A LITTLE COMPASSION FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS HAD NO WHERE TO TURN. BUT INSTEAD OF HOPE & HELP THE TREATMENT HE RECIEVED CAUSED HIM TO GIVE UP BECAUSE ONCE AGAIN WITH GREAT RESISTANCE AND HAVING TO BE FORCED TO GO, HE REACHED OUT AND NO ONE WAS THERE. IF HE DOES KILL HIMSELF I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS THE UNSYMPATHETIC JERK DOCTOR THAT TREATED HIM IS THE REASON AND I WILL BE SUING THEM FOR THE FAILURE TO ADEQUATELY TREAT HIS PAIN AND MAKING HIM FEEL WORSE WITH THERE ATTITUDE AND LACK OF CONCERN.
