Went in with 103 temp and dizzy, the Dr. was very condescending, to the point where he asked me if he was being rude, for some reason he had a problem with me saying that I waited until my temp was 103 before coming to ER (appx 6:30 pm)  I was made to feel i had done something wrong and felt as though I should not have come at all. I am not Medicare, Medicaid or ACA , have UHC that I pay for, this hospital is less than a mile from my home, I was told to take Tylenol and Motrin, now 2 day after going to ER I still have a fever so I call them to see if the Dr. could call in a prescription and was told by Kim, the nurse that he was not in and if he didn't give a prescription when I was there, then he would not give me one today. She didn't even ask me what my temp was are any medical questions. She the nurse made a medical decision instead of referring the info to a Dr. They have lost a patient FOREVER !  Cc: UHC

Details:

I am preparing a visitor's guide for hospitals along the I-20 corridor. This guide will be primarily for ministers who need to make hospital visits with the purpose of making their visits best for your facility, their parishioners, and the ministers themselves. Any information about visiting hours, rules, and protocol will be helpful. Please include identification requirements and anything else that you consider helpful. Non-smoking policies should be included even though that shouldn't be an issue with ministers. Any help you can provide will be appreciated. The guide will be updated as necessary, and we would appreciate your putting us on your mailing list at speckyoulater@gmail.com. Thany you, Chuck and James Lambert
