Waited for over an hour to be seen for severe stomache pain. Was not checked on by a nurse after finally being given dilaudid pain med. Did not see a doctor for discharge info or diagnosis. Nurse did not tell me my diagnosis or follow up treatment until I asked. My husband had to ask for a wheel chair and then wheel me out with no staff help after receiving discharge papers from a nurse. LOTS of inappropriate staff conversations and loud personal conversation going on between staff. I didn't need to know their bedroom life,,,,,

I would not recommend this place AT ALL! I took my wife in the emergency room because she was vomitting blood and had extreme stomach pain. We sat in the waiting room for 4 hours while others that seemed like they were just fine were being called back. I even told them that she didn't think she could make it any longer! The consultant just gave me a sarcastic smile and told me it would be a while. Finally, after 9 hours, she had her appendix taken out. They knew it was serious when she told them her symptoms, and when the doctors finally saw her, it took4 additional hours before they took her to surgery. I am going to Baptist for anything else that may happen in the future! By the way, the nurses were kind, the doctors, were kind, but my wife could have died because of this.
