I was very impressed with the quality of nursing care. I must say this hospital would not run with out their excellent nursing staff and nursing Assistants. They should be given respect for the job that they because they deserve it. The doctors are a tad bit lame, they rarely read the chart before entering the room. Surgeons think they are so superior and above everyone else, it is really sad. They are the ones that bring the quality of care of the hospital down. Their attitude, lack of patient knowledge, don't think they have to read the chart, wandering into the wrong patients room (it happened to me) some surgeon thought I was someone else, but if he would have read the chart, he would have known better. I was extremely disappointed, frustrated and down right fighting mad when it came to the dietitions, cafeteria, and phone staff of cafeteria. They were rude, condesending, ignorant, disrespectful, and unempathetic. They were even rude to the nurses when they did not know that the person they were talking was nurse. When the nurse said, hey I am her nurse and I want you to send her up this. They changed their attitude in a fast hurry....I guess they just get away with that with us patients!!
