Details:

Quality of care was very poor - Patient would wait up to 40 minutes for a call to be answered. Nurse staff replied "She was on break". Bed sheets were changed 4 times during a 3 month stay! While delivering medication, staff would spill medication onto the table top and not clean it up afterwards. Floor continuously dirty, very seldom clean or mopped, waste cans overflowing for both beds! Unable to properly maintain Feeding/Drain tubes - St. Mary's indicated that Care Giver was pushing tubes in to far and responsible for the once a week ER visits. A Witness observed Staff struggling with tubes and even lost part of the tube at one time. Facility would often run out of the proper medication and patient would go for days without Doctor recommended medication. Witness a Staff member leaving another patient in the restroom while visiting.

Details:

My mom was a patient here in short term care for rehab. They did not care about doing her rehab, they kept her in bed 80% of the day. They wanted to move her to their long term care. She lost alot of weight, was covered with bruises, had an untreated UTI. We moved her to a different facility where she received the treatment that she needed and is now home using her walker, which they said she would never do again.
