On a whole the staff and facility are above average. Our only complaint was that our Mother is NEVER given a set place to sit in the dining room. Everytime she goes to eat, there is no place setting for her. As she has been there for 11 weeks, we find this unacceptable. More importantly, our Mom is very shy, she dreads going to eat and either tears up or cries everyday because of this. We spoke to the personnel in the dining room several times and for the next meal Mom would have a set place to sit. The next day, no place setting or no set place to sit. We spoke to so many folks to get this corrected but, haven't been successful. We are recommending that my Mom eat in her room although she'll be alone and we know that socializing at mealtimes would be beneficial especially since she's so shy and meak. Please do not discount this complaint as it's important for any patient to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
