My mother spent 6 weeks in re-hab after a very extensive surgery involving removal of her jaw due to cancer in Kingston Gardens and we would highly recomend this facility, the staff, nurses, aids were awesome, the cleanliness of this facility is A rated, we cannot say enough about the wonderful care my mother received during her stay.

Sometimes change is hard. Over the past year there have been many changes at this facility. Staff members in most facilities dislike change and no person in going to be happy all the time. There is nothing disgusting about my workplace and our DON is not worthless. It is sad to see that several disgruntled workers have used this forum to push their own agenda. It takes all of us to run a good facility. Bashing one person online doesn't make for a better workplace. Family members should disregard these postings and take it for what it is. A whole bunch of BS. If there are problems in this facility, it is because of people who post useless crap like this.

I agree with most of the comments on here. Last Administrator - Ann, very caring person and spent time on the units. The facility was run very well and smooth. The last D.O.N. - Cindy, was or at least appeared to be professional. For the most part, the nurses in this nursing facility seem to be very good and knowledgeable. Some of the aids need more training...most that have been there for a while are good too. Overall, the staff has decreased which is a bad thing. If this facility is cutting back and saving money, where's it going?

The staff friendliness depends who is on duty. The facility is understaffed for its acuity, especially on Comfort Lane. Sometimes you have to wait over a 1/2 hour before an aide can help you. The DON is worthless.
