Low quality of care not because the nurses don't care but they are understaffed while the corporate makes money out of the residents. How can one nurse take care of more than 15 patients in 8 hrs with all energy and all caring? At times we need to look beyond mare complaints and shake the roots.

I read the other reviews and sadly I agree.Nursing staff is uncaring and definitely MOT dedicated to their profession. Others mentioned the bell for assistance. The response time they gave is correct -about 1 hour. If the patient gets on the wrong side of anurse and mentions meds are late or anything else, quality of care drops even more. They tthen get later and will ignore requests. One patient who has been there awhile did not get her meal. she called and the response time was so longk they had no more -she was given a cold samdwich. My relative was brough her 11 and 1 meds while I was taling to her-it was 12:30. Meds need to be administered on time to work efficiently. My husband stayed here 3 years ago and nursing was much better.I think the storm that blew away the back of the bldg must have blown away good nursing and responsibility.. the facility is beautiful and I will say it is one of the few that doesnt smell old and dirty. It makes me very sad to visit my rel and find them in tears..afraid thje say anything and wanting out so bad. You cannot rehab if you are depresed by your surroundings- the only thing I bet that is keeping this facity at even 2,75 stars is the look of it and the kitcen staff-the food is extremely good.Kudos for something I feel terrible I recommended this place--it clould be a phenominal place and could mean a lot to the paients and their loved ones. I will do everything I can to get the word out that this facility needs to change or close.I cannot give names because we are stuck here for awhile-they might get even more vicious.

I hate that my loved one has to spend even one more day in this facility. They dropped her in the floor just trying to move her from her bed to the wheelchair. They had to X-ray her for a possible broken rib. All of this, while she is trying to recover from major back surgery. It took more than an hour for them to get her up. Her roommate fell two nights later and was in the floor for more than an hour before they answered the nurse call my aunt pushed. The first time I went to visit, I asked what room she was in and they couldn't tell me. They looked around in all these notebooks and then on the computer. I finally had to call a family member to get them to tell me what room she was in. Don't they realize how that makes a family member feel?? I have been nothing but disappointed. If all the patients are receiving treatment like this, this place should be shut down. We are trying desperately to find a better place for her.

It has been extremely disturbing to observe week-end and evening/ overnight staff congregate at the nurse's station. Bells ringing and the staff is singing acapella. Patients are not cared for in a manner consistent with the appearance of the facility; be fooled, as there is no odor, no disarray, and all staff will smile and say hi! That's the challenge...it looks good on the outside and superficially. When you dig in and stay for awhile you see patients with decubitus ulcers due to non-movement, stiff joints, etc. as they are not moved in their beds. If the staff spent the time working on pts vs "TALKING" in the hallway, i truly believe a TOP NOTCH FACILITY COULD BE RUN. The current DON and Facility Administrator are bean counters and not concerned about pt care. It is apparent they have checked out from humanity and are truly worried about $$ and cents! On the flip side, find a facility that is cleaner or more efficient in FW or Arlington. Trinity Terrace is the only one...

My mother stayed at this facility for 4 months. The facts I am stating come directly from what I experienced while at the facility on various occassions. The nursing staff is rude and demonstrated such a lack of care that I cried everytime I left there because I knew it was a living hell for my mother. We had no choice at the time -- my mother to endure that place until other arrangements were eventually made. I witnessed a nurse moving an elderly patient around so roughly you would have thought she was throwing around a sack of potatoes. They dismiss patient's request as if what the patient is requesting isn't necessary enough to acknowledge. If they do acknowledge the request, it's just to have the patient stop calling for them. I would not recommend this place to anyone that cares about their parent(s) well-being.

Green Oaks is a beautiful facility and we have been very impressed with the staff and the food. The phones are an issue on the weekends but we haven't had any problems during the week.

Poor phone system, if you have a loved one residing at this facility, good luck in reaching someone on the phone, and then if you do, expect them to listen in on conversations from time to time.
