Details:

I have a family member who was recently admitted to this facility and has been treated so distasteful. my family member laid in bed for over 16 hrs in extreme pain to the point he was begging GOD to end his life. The staff did nothing to help try to make him remotely comfortable. The Director of Nursing was even approached and had a attitude like it was no big thing. The family has been lied to on several occasions and has even tried to put blame on other physicans. When the family asked the nursing home if they had contacted Hospice to let them know of his recent arrival so they could come in to evaluate him they said they had but wasn't sure what time they would be in. Hospice never arrived and 2 days after my family member was here Hospice contacted us to see when he was going to be moved to this facility. The nursing home never called them. All I ask is --Is this the way you would want to see your dying parent or grandparent pass? Losing a love one is hard enough but to have to watch them die so miserably and treated so poorly makes me sick. This facility and its staff needs courses in dignity and respect. Take my advice and dont put your loved one in this facility.
