When I first began treatment at this facility, it truly saved my life. I spent a total of roughly 4yrs. on the methadone program. but I found that after 3yrs. I was ready to decrease my dosage. The administrator was trying to force me to increase. I should mention she is no longer there. But if you are looking to be treated there you will encounter people that want to help you and not judge you. this was the only facility that I contacted where I actually talked to a person on the phone that was very helpful and empathetic. That is why I chose it. But remember that ultimately it is a business with the purpose of making money. but in my experience I was not interested in a life-long dependence on methadone. I am still fighting addiction but I have found that suboxone is a much better alternative to methadone. Short and long-term side effects are significantly less. But anyone who is seeking help, please don't allow your shame to lead you around anymore, I wish you luck and remember that God will always be there with you, all you have to do is ask.

The first thing one should know about this clinic is that most of the people who go here aren't actually trying to detox. Many of the clients only stick around until they are receiving enough take-homes to sell. That said, you will often see drug deals going down in the parking lot and in the line. I've even seen someone trade a pair of shoes for some xanax. The owners of this company are only in it for the money. Cost is $15 daily, or $16 for tablets. Because the latter is more expensive for the company, you have to go through an outside doctor to get a script for them... and if you, like many others, are allergic to the red dye used in their methadone, you're going to want to do this. At any rate, the owners don't really like to kick anyone out, so it's hard to get banned unless you really mess up. No one watches UAs, and the penalty for a dirty test is that you won't be able to receive take homes. Most days there is a bit of a wait to receive your dose, though it's much better than it was in 2012. There are almost always 2-6 people in line, and on Fridays and Weekends in particular, there may be a wait time of half an hour to an hour. The best part of this clinic is, hands down, the staff. Though they are greatly hindered by the owners, the staff -- both nurses and counselors -- really do care. They may seem extremely jaded at first, but that's mostly due to the fact that they have to ignore so many things that are detrimental to treatment, and talk to so many people who aren't really there for help at all. If you are respectful and show them that you are truly there for help, most of the counselors are absolutely amazing. Treat them well and they will do the same.
