The staff is very friendly and treat you with respect but it is all part of the master plan to take you money and keep you there for as long as possible. The doctors do not care about your welfare, just making money! This place should e investigated for insurance fraud! The itemized bills include daily charges for seeing a doctor, who you do not see!

Do NOT go here! All they care about is making money! Everything is your fault and the only way to solve your problem is to let unqualified counselors make all decisions for you. You aren't able to communicate with anyone on the outside so the counselors from direction from the " doctor" control what everyone on the outside believe is going on with you. Your life hinges on secret conversations they have with your family, lawyers etc.

The worst year of my life! Yes, an entire year and I left AMA b/c they wanted to transfer me to one of their 2 year long term halfway houses. According, to the completely unqualified staff, I was uncooperative! In actuality, I was suffer ring from severe depression and anxiety. You do not get any help with any other psychiatric problems you may have. The program is the same for everyone. They spend the first part of your stay there trying to convince you that you are an alcoholic or drug addict and the only treatment provided is indoctrination into AA. Once you pay the outrageous charge of almost 40 grand for 5 to 6 weeks of inpatient treatment, then they convince you and your family that the only way for you to recover is to stay in their long term treatment centers, which of course means more money for them. This place is all about making money and keeping you their for as long as possible. God forbid you actually have other problems going on no matter what they are...the only answer is AA and no medication at all. I left this place worse off than when I got there, but it was all my fault b/c I am smart enough to realize when a doctor is a quack and only interested in taking your money! They make lofty promises that they don't keep.and continue to rake in tons of cash from you. I left with more problems than when I got there. The answer to everyone's problems are same the same...no medication and AA. Don't get me wrong they are good at what they do take your money and keep you there for as long as possible, if that's what you are looking for.

At one time, Willingway was one of the top treatment centers in the US. Dr. John and Dot Mooney were sincere and compassionate towards addicted patients. Since they have left, Willingway is all about MONEY. Very rude staff and Doctors are arrogant quacks. I suggest anyone seeking help find it elsewhere.
