I attended this facility several years ago, and I'm saddened that things have not changed. They post these beautiful pics and statements online (they've taken down the ones of the sleeping quarters, instead of 2 to 1 rm, I had 3 rm mates), and you think serene thoughts and rehabilitation. Nothing there is conducive to rehabilitation. It is run like a prison and the only free time you have you need to use it for sleep because they run you all day long from 6 am to 9 pm, and the only outside time I had in 28 days was a 1/2 excursion they gave us in which we really couldn't move more than several feet from the back door. 4 females in 1 rm and 1 bthrm. Suffice it to say it was a terrible experience. Makes u wonder if the State is aware.

Do not go to this facility or send your children to this facility. They make it look like a country club on the outside yet it's run down & ran like a prison on the inside. They do not offer any real outdoor activities that they advertise on their home website. There are more people selling drugs inside the facility than there are on the street. The staff is overworked & cannot meet clientel needs. Ownership is running the facility like a boarding house to make money rather than actually caring about individual needs. The staff cannot possibly handle such caseloads when management is filling the place with people who continue to sell drugs at a rapid pace. Do not go to this facility. If you want a good rehab try to get into Hamilton Hall in Ogdensburg NY, which is a great facility that accepts medicaid & is ran very clean & efficiently. Conifer Park really should be turned into state inspectors & investigated.

I had 2 daughters go to the facility. Detox floor was a waste of time. They didnt talk to councelors or anyone like that. The rehab floor was out of control. Girls fighting all the time, stealing everyones things. Conifer makes themselves sound like a wonderful safe place when really its worse than jail or prison! I will never recomend this place to anyone. Not one person cares, they will act like they do to your face and then do nothing about the incident.
