If this facility is so bad, why don't someone report it to the state of Pa and maybe they will correct the problems or shut it down. Send some inspectors out there to check it out. Maybe they need to fire some people who are not doing their jobs. Lots of people looking for jobs.

Dirty bathrooms, nasty actually!! Carpets were so old and nasty. Rooms looked and felt like a crack hotel. Staff and nurses were mean, insensitive, heartless dumb people that didn't know what to do about anything. One nurse even said "what do you want me to do?" They also wouldn't give me back perscriptions the hospital had given me and put me back on something that I couldn't take because of advers reactions. When I told them they wouldn't do anything different and said "this is protocol a s we to do this for everyone." Horrible. I would give this gross place -5 stars if I could. Never in all the places I'd been to was this dirty and this bad. Not to mention this more focused on heroine addicts. There was a sweet poor older women that just came in and was coming off alchol and these horrible heroine users that not only talked about goin back put and shooting up as soon as they could get a ride, but were tapping on this 80+ year old grandmothers back messing with her. :'( I couldn't stand it and walked out that next minute. Please don't ever send anyone or if your looking for good care this is NOT it!!! Please run far away and I pray it gets shut down because its not up to any code or standard I've ever seen.

Unsanitary living areas, rooms and bathrooms in the medical detox unit. The facility medical detox unit and other buildings are not handicap suitable for bathroom purposes. Insufficient scheduled activities, groups and individual counseling, especially on weekends. Detox nursing staff does not have adequate working equipment for blood pressure readings. The EKG machine for floor use malfunctions on a regular basis. Insufficient quantity of wheelchairs for those that require usage. Insufficient pillows for patient beds plus for those that require medical usage of more than one pillow. Laundry hours do not allow the inpatients time for doing their laundry. Patients that should be handled in the Psychriatic part of the facility are often placed in the detox unit; therefore, disrupting the others. Emergent medical needs are not provided on this site hospital. It should be looked at a possibility to rename the Center. Specialty medical services are not provided for those with specific health needs. There is NO Physical Therapy offered program as quoted by the admission administration. The gymnasium is not equipped. Overworked and understaffed Medical Doctors to provide the medical needs of the patients. Counselors are not proficient in the field of objectivity and diversified needs of the variety of individual patients. Also, one on one counseling is laughable and counterproductive. The administrative staff do not provide correct information when a patient is ready for discharge. HONESTY is not provided by the administration directly involved with patient admissions. The psychriatic evaluations are not provided by the Psychriatric Standards and Policies set forth by medical ethics and standards. The cafeteria does not maintain and refill empty salad and bread bar stands. Also, staff do not like disabled patients to use the community cafeteria. It is discouraged loudly at the entrance door. Your safety is your own...the prevention of disease is almost impossible. When you get home, immediately see your primary care physican for communicable diseases. UNSANITY EVERYWHERE ON THE FLOOR UNIT LEVEL AND CAFETERIA AREA...remember the program is within you. Motivate you and you will make it.

This rehab was horrible, shared a tiny bathroom with six other grown men, my window faced the eagleville jail and you could see the inmates being bussed over to the rehab from my window. Staff is unorganized, my female therapist challenged all my thoughts and feelings, and made me feel inferior. Food was horrible, made me sick to my stomach. The nurse messed up my meds quite a few times. There are drugs being circulated at all times. Overall a horrible rehab facility, I strongly recommend you stay away from this facility, please.

My husband has been in Eagleville Hospital under a 90 day rehab program and has been doing wonderful. He is a completely changed man. I do believe in the program that Eagleville has provided for him and am quite impressed with the overall change that my husband has achieved since he has been at Eagleville Hospital. I am very grateful to them and to the counsellor.
