I couldn't ask for a more compassionate place to go. The counselor and his assistant were very kind. I feel I am on a stable path to recovery with the informative and productive group sessions. I felt understood and cared about. I would recommend to anyone seeking outpatient care.

The overall health rating in Wyoming is fairly average. Our health care is poor because we only have one doctors office and one chiropractor office in our city. Wyoming also has only one option for a park and it is located at the far end of town with limited and outdated equipment. The only food options are to cook at home or order from the convience store or local tavern.

This is a small town with some charm. There aren't many choices for recreation or dining though. It is close by to other towns and cities that do have much more to offer. It has a good school system and has very affordable real estate. It reminds me of Mayberry off of the Andy Griffith Show.

They are an amazing home health care organization, and I would not use any other locally. The nursing care is excellent as well as the physical therapy. They are a strong Christian organization. That is hard to find these days. I recommend them any time I am asked.

This is the best home health agency ever! Mom had been in and out of the local hospital and had used several of the agencies in the area including ETMC but no one had more compassion and caring than these people. I highly recommend them. Mom is getting well by staying home with their care.

I hope her annoyin dog thats in the class room bothering everyone during group enjoys poopin on all the damn receipts Anne Drops under her desk. Maybe you need some glasses Anne. DO NOT GO TO A-1 Soulutions in everett or you will suffer like i did P.S. The judge dropped the case on me after i told him about this :)...Someone needs to take this old Cocakoo out of the pigeon pen I am very very serious.

Considering NO ONE would help me help my mother out of our car(she could not walk) and into the hospital in what was an emergency, which I later had to do myself by going back in and asking for a wheelchair, I am rather upset with the front office staff. The nurses working in the back where the patients rooms are are wonderful people, but the receptionist is what really got to me. I asked for something simple, help in getting my mother into the waiting room, and instead was left to do it myself, panicking, of course, in what was an emergency situation. It took approximately an hour before my mother was called in and roomed, and more than an hour later after that we were finally seen by a doctor.

NOTE: I filled in the above blanks because the form forced me to. After one visit, we decided NOT to use this facility. First impression: the "front" door -- which is around the back -- has seven steps to reach the door! (The other entrance, at ground level, is difficult to find). Second, we were shown around by an uninterested/bored RN who was curt and seemed reluctant to spend more than about 10 minutes with us. Finally -- the clincher -- the smell of stale urine overwhelmed us when we got off the elevator at the patient floor. Worse than the smell of a bus-station men's room. In addition, we visited after dinner and the halls were filled with drowsy (drugged??) patients who showed no spark -- though all seemed clean and well cared-for. Questions: rdanca@gmail.com

Grossly Understaffed with nurses. No one available to get patients out of bed/bed pan/excessive use of catheder because of this. Total lack of care of patients not due to poor nursing but due to poor scheduling or Lack of Nurses. Dr's unwilling to give information about patient. Arrogance by most doctors and uncaring attitude about their patients.

Clearly a posting stating management gets along with staff tells you that they in fact do not otherwise why post such a remark following the negative comments prior to that posting. The management in this agency is very poor and individual nurse's are what keep the clients safe.

The staffing coordinator of this facility is very, very short and rude and acts like he is doing you a favor by finding someone to come out and give you nursing or physical therapy. The other office staff is usually polite. The nurses and physical therapist usually give you a 30 minute notice that they will be in to see you. There is no planning ahead to be respectful of patients time. Overall, no one in the company knows what anyone is doing or where they are at any time and they are rude if you ask for a time to expect to see someone. I have since taken my home health care needs to another agency where I am treated with respect and courtesy and they cater to my needs (not me trying to cater to theirs).

This hospital was really, really mediocre. (I am being kind.) I brought my elderly mom there for rehab (alcoholism) and anxiety. There were a few very dedicated (ridiculously overworked) people who tried to help but otherwise there was literally no care, it was a dingy, horrible facility with no natural light, inedible food etc., and virtually no therapeutic activities that I could discern. For four days no one came to take her to a 12 step0 meeting (!!!) and she had no therapy, nothing. No one seemed to care how she was and she deteriorated. The doctor we had was an imbecile and the nurses seemed to ignore his directives; there was zero communication among members of her medical team. A terrible experience. She was placed on the 5th floor (the Asian floor) but maybe it is different on the 3rd floor (the subtance abuse floor). Payne Whitney is WAY better. (She was there 5 years ago.)

This facility is not very good to be a resident of or work for. The DON up there does a very bad job. She doesn't know how to run the place, but thinks she does. She always puts the blame on others instead of herself and she thinks nothing her day shift does is wrong. The assistants on days and evenings do not do their job right. They don't work as a team, argue amongst one another, and don't answer call lights unless they feel like it. Half the time they just walked right by them. They'd rather go smoke than answer that call light first. The night shift was very wonderful. They answered call lights promptly and were always very sweet and caring. They'd bend over backwards for you. Just wish their DON and other head people up there would appreciate their work. The only good thing I have to say about that place is their night shift.

Pathways may sound appealing, but the inpatient treatment compares more to brainwashing than recovery. Their approach, flooding and drilling the patients hours a day with recovery material, gives the facility a prevalent cult-like theme that does not internally assist the patients. They have very strict rules and security, which is crucial to recovery, but they present these foundations as a threat to the patient. Being a former patient of Pathways, I do not recommend it to parents looking for help with incorrigible children with substance abuse problems and addict behavior. It was not helpful to me, nor many of the other former patients. There are many other juvenile rehabilitation treatment centers in southeast Michigan that offer more effective services that focus on much more than temporarily flooding the teen with anti-drug propaganda, that focus truly on recovery tools, dual diagnosis, coping skills and self-improvement.
