Details:

I am a Registered Director of Nursing and am absolutely horrified and disgusted by how they have treated my mother. She is a widow and has to go through this life-saving event 2x/week in order just to remain alive. The incompetence of the staff at this facility allowed my mother's needle to come out of her arm and the blood spray others, of which my mother had no control. A tech nor the nurse was paying enough attention to catch the needle, filled a pillow and sprayed 2 people with the blood flowing from the machine. The next visit, my mother was placed "in the corner" away from everyone as a "precaution", as if their negligence was her fault. She is a widow and faces this alone. So today, my mother sat crying during the entire visit today because of how they made her feel. They treated her like a sub-human and as if she had no feelings at all. Absolute non-compassionate, incompetent staff. If it wasn't for the necessity of keeping my mother alive, we would NOT go back. Find somewhere else to go if you have a choice. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. They should be ashamed to call themselves medical "professionals".
