This center is archaic. Nocturnal dialysis is done for 8 hours in chairs not beds. Yes chairs. There are currently only six televisions for 10 nocturnal patients. They only allow patients very limited acces to wifi internet. Most social media sites are blocked. No access allowed. They give no valid explanation for this. It is also very cold there. The staff is great, they do a good job . I do not understand why managemant allows smoking at the entrances to the facility. People, including staff are often seen smoking in open doorways that lead into this facility. Also cigarette butts are often strewn along the ground at the entrances. We were promised beds when we started nocturnal dialysis, howerver almost 9 months have gone by without any beds. It is laughable when you see how much revenue a company like FMC makes each year. They care more about stockholders than their patients. Also the televisions are altleat 10-15 years old they can't hold a picture and most of the remote speakers have lost their volume control. This is the Pittston PA Location!!!
