Conifer Park, Inc Discussion by Anonymous

- Details:
Conifer Park is a joke. They have this program and the chnave to save so many people but are not doing it. The doctor David Dinello is a fraud he wont prescribe enough methadone for a average user to feel even normal for a 24 hour period. His exact words were we should suffer some at night time. What type of doctor wants his patients to suffer. The program should be investigated by proper law enforcement. I went there to get help and i'm still using because I get withdrawals at dinner time. I'm going to get discharged at some point because I cannot provide a clean urine. The only other help is Crouse chemical dependency but there waiting list is over a year. Crouse is a true methadone clinic in they will actually give you enough to feel comfortable throughout the day. The moral of this is it's just a darn shame that they have this program at conifer and they are not helping at all. Patients are bringing in fake urine to trick them but they are just tricking them self. 50 mg is no were enough methadone I believe 80 mg is were methadone starts to work properly and block opiates therefore not allowing a person to get high from painkillers or heroin. I hope something is done. Someone please help.

Staff seems burned out. No one offered to help make my Dad more comfortable after colon surgery. He was sitting up and asleep. I hAd to point out that the bed needed to be lowered and get him a blanket. Patient comfort is not a concern from heat I saw while visiting every day. Some of the nurses are too loud. I wouldn't want to be in Conroe regional. Go to either St.Lukes or Memorial Hermann.

I have a 21 year old neice who is addicted to heroin and am trying to find help for her. After talking with her I think she is ready to get help but she doesn't know how. Her biggest problem is that she has no insurance and only works 3 days a week so she has no money. I am looking for someplace that will help her that there is not going to be an expense to her. She feels there is no hope to get help and can't start the day unless she has a fix. Is there help for her that won't cost?

Conway Regional Medical Center Discussion by Anonymous

- Details:
My daughter and my friends daughter both contracted HA-MRSA from Conway Regional in their ears after having a very simple procedure done.(ear tubes) Both within 2 months of each other. If you choose to use CRMS take your health in your hands and make them wash their hands in front of you, new gown and shoe covers in front of you. I have read so many others saying they too contracted it from CRMS so it would be safe to insist any nurse or doctor use a face mask. Proof that any and all equipment touching your body has been santized thoroughly. Please take your health into your own hands because CRMS will not do it for you.

Cooper Green Hospital Discussion by Anonymous

- Details:
In 1983 I was taken to The Cooper Green Hospital with severe abdominal pain and after 4 hours or more of waiting,I was taken back and 2 more hours in the treatment room,I was told I was pregnant and that I was hemorrhaging and have to have emergency surgery to prevent my tube from bursting. The Surgeon removed my left fallopian tube and after 3days in the hospital, again I was in excruciating pain and was told that I needed to get up and move around because it was just gas from the surgery. I responded that I have had 2 prior surgeries and gas but it didn't feel like this and a older nurse came in and checked my stomach and had the chief of surgery to come check me and with 1 slight press of the stomach, I was back into the operating room again, and yes,I had developed an infection from an unsanitary needle that was used to stitch up my incision.I'm not through yet.Ok, now they decided to use staples, 2 days later, I'm infected again from dirty clamps. Well they did save me from dying from an ectopic pregnancy that I didn't know that I had, after all, I had my tubes tied 5 years prior at UAB Hospital. So,I guess I have to thank CGH for sending me home with my stomach open but they made sure I had a nurse to agree to keep my stomach and cleaned until the infection cleared up. Otherwise, They may have killed me if I had continue to stay there. Well,I had had enough of their infecting me with their dirty instruments. I'm here by the grace of God and common sense to ask my nurse friend for help and when she said absolutely, they had to give me my discharge papers. Thank you Jesus!!!!

Cortland Place Discussion by Anonymous

- Details:
I have noticed all the familiar staff {Nursing} have left or are leaving. What does this say for the facility. Where are they going and and why suddenly? I had felt comfortable with those who had cared for nmy mom. When I wasn't there or had gone home for the night I knew mom was safe and loved. Now I feel we have lost part of our family. I sure wish I knew where they went. I would transfer mom out in a seond to be under their care. You lost out Cortland Place. In more than one way. Mom will eventually be transfered when my family locates these wonderful, highly respected nurses. As well as other families that have loved ones there who feel the same as myself and my family.

Country Villa Huntington Drive Healthcare Center Discussion by Anonymous

- Details:
contact me so I can give details on how my mother arrived to Arcadia Methodist hospital bad diaper rash (I believe they took pictures). I called Country Villa spoke with Geraldine Padilla to tell her Maureen Pollock would not be returning and that I would pick up her belongings by Friday July 1st. They lost her personal belongings only had her dentures all else misplaced. They are over staff and over populated. They don't log who cleared her things or what they did with them! very disappointed in their professionalism. I believe my mother in law go C.diff due to there neglegence in her care. When I visited she would ring for bed pan they would not respond! I would go to nursing station to say we needed nurse to bring bed pan 15 mins. later a nurse would come by (acted like we were bothering her). Also my mother in law said they would say ohh you made a mess I just cleaned you. When someone is old and sick the last thing they want to hear is nurse complain!

Country Villa Murrieta Healthcare Center Discussion by Anonymous

- Details:
My wife is currently on Hospice. She was admitted to Country Villa for a five day stay so that my daughter and I could have 5 days to rest and recooperate from the stress of taking care of my wife and mother who is dying of MS. Counrty Villa failed to give my wife her prescribed medication that keep her calm and in not giving her medications she attempted to walk out of the Hospital. They say that they do not beleive and giving those kinds of medications to patients. Well the outcome was my wife freaked out and attacked the nurses there with a belt that they gave her or allowed her to get a hold of. ultimately they kicked her out of the facility and tagged my wife as being a violent patient in less than 24 hours. Now My daughter and I can find not other facilities that will take in for Respid Care because Country Villa has given her this reputation. If they had administered the prescribed medications none of this would have happened. Country Villa knew about the medications and failed to tell anyone that they would not administer them as prescribed.
