Rn triage nurse became hostile when I refused to sit in chair for traige. ( being almost carried by husband I was unable to bend in seating position for 24 hr ) drove to ED in back of vehicle lying down. Medical stafffirst words prior to even looking at me was an accusation I was drug seeking. NEVER physically examined or a comprehensive history taken Sent to xray without being given pain management. Never offered any aides to comfort pillow for knees or head or blanket by ED staff. Told xray showed nothing I was fine. Waited 45 min for discharge finally husband again aided me to vehicle and we left NO one even noticed our departure. Saw doctor diagnoised with bulging disk given lidocaine and steroid injections in back. Never did ask for pain pills all I wanted was a diagnoisis Came to ED because something was horribly wrong and I needed help. Instead I was treated hostilly threatened that I had to aot or not be triaged. I was never examined told i was fine and never given dishcharge paperwork. You did nothing and I truly mean Nothing for me. Xray tech was kind and helpful and she did given me blanket. she was kind and caring. Thank you it was truly appreciated.
