THE ER IS DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH!!! I brought my friend in for severe abdominal pain. After a long wait with few patients in the actual rooms, the doctor there ordered no cat scans or other tests and said he had a yeast infection. They gave him antibiotics and sent us on our way. At home, he was getting worse! So we wound up going to Wuesthoff. There, tests showed my friend has kidney cancer and had we not gotten him in when we had, he very well may have died. He needed emergency kidney surgery! I have read other reviews about Cape Canaveral Hospital in which people have complained that they came in with pain and were treated as if they were drug seeking. This is what happened with my friend, only in addition, their neglect nearly cost him his life!

I went in at 32 weeks pregnant with severe heartburn and discomfort. I am a first time mom and am in between doctors and was told to go to the ER if I had any problems. They took me to the maternity ward and hooked me up to monitors, made me pee in a cup and I sat there for over an hour waiting. They didn't tell me anything! They brought up me being on lortabs which really pissed me off because I am not! I was in an accident last year and they tried ot give them to me and i refused the script! I couldnt believe that is what they were concerned about. It made me feel like they thought i was there for pain meds. I'm pregnant!! WHY would I want those meds while pregnant esp when I wont take them when I'm not. They didn't really tell me much of what was going on and just told me to follow up with my doctor which they already knew I didn't have one and was waiting to get into a new one. The medication they told me to take on my discharge papers is something you can't even buy anymore. I was in the drug store in tears because I sat there for 3hrs and got nowhere! The staff was alright but again didn't tell me much of anything. They didnt even tell me that my urine sample was ok, nothing. They didnt tell me anything about my baby and the monitors I was hooked up to. I am really nervous about having to have my baby there because it just seems like they dont care.

I had a cardiac catheterization on Wed. 9/7/2016. It was the worst experience I have ever had for a procedure anywhere. I was no t properly sedated. I was left completely awake and conscious the entire time. At no time was I asked if I was in distress. At no time was I asked if I needed anything for pain. This is absolutely the worst experience ever for me. I have had renal for 26 yrs. and have been treated in many hospitals and this by far the worst experience ever. I would never recommend Cape Canaveral Hospital to anyone. The worst staff by far I have ever encountered. I was completely traumatized.
