Went into to Sacred's facility in Tiger Point two weeks ago for blood draw for PSA. Handed lab tech sheet urologist gave me for authorization. Told the tech it was for a specific physician. Meanwhile my spouse was looking for me in a nearby office and was treated rudley when she asked for help. Went in today to ask why my doc hadn't received my PSA readings. Lab tech (different one) couldn't find me in their data base and their main lab couldn't. Guess I don't have a prostate after all! Shabby!

The Children's part of the hospital is a joke. Inconsistency amongst staff - some are compassionate while others lack it. One nurse was so nonchalant that it was ridiculous. We were told that our child needed to be up & moving but the nurse only offered to help if we needed him. Really? Medical personnel are the ones who get patients up and moving - not the family! X-rays were overlooked - child left with a hole in her intestine, only to be readmitted at another hospital. The specialists said that it was obvious there was a hole - how could SH overlook something so serious???

My mother was told by vascular surgeon to go home and exercise right leg knowing she neede bypass surgery on right leg. Surgery was put off due too heart stints and weak heart. Once in hospital for bypass on leg they found infection so they removed existing bypasses that were clogged, said they could not do bypass cause infection. So she has 30 stitches in pain as well. Mean time foot starts to rot off with no blood flow. Doctor says they have to take leg off at below knee two days after surgery. So she does it. Pain pain pain. Not to mention all the other complications. Now two days after 2 surgerys they say they need to take leg off higher. She is 68 week heart can't take all these surgerys. Told them before amputee on leg if you think you need to take more do it now. But noooo. Now three surgerys in 4 days. Can't believe nurse just came in antibiotic was finished machine has been beeping 1 hour she ask me does she need fluids hooked up. Well I am a costrution manager let me see!!!!!!!! Don't you think you should know?????understaffed poor poor communication with each other. Poor poor communication with all of family from any and all doctors. Example:( second surgery below knee amputation my father and I get word procedure at 7:00 am. ( she may get bumped we are a trama center ) she got bumped and that's understandable. 3:00 pm she goes in 6 hrs later in surgery waiting room still waiting to see if her week heart allowed her to make it through. We call information and find out she has been moved out to a room. Well a two min call or stop by just to let us know she is alive would have been nice!!! I think I'm gonna have heart attack?? I can keep going with the complaints but I think you get the jist of just the highlights!!!!

My loved one was treated by a doctor who refused to consult with regular doctors. This doctor cut life preserving meds down and sent him home to worsen only to return and be treated just as badly, not even stabilizing his condition. This hospital treats elderly patients as though they want them to die, and are very glad to help that along.
