The nurses were slow to respond. The morning I was told I would be released the nurse removed the iv but left the iv needle in my hand. I kept asking her to remove the needle. She kept putting me off. After the doctor came in and told me I could go home she still did not remove the needle. After 3 hrs. of waiting I asked the nurse when my paperwork and prescription would be ready so I could go home. She kept walking around very slowly and talking to other nurses. I kept asking her to remove the iv needle and she would not. I finally told her I was leaving. Another nurse removed the needle. My nurse still did not bring my paperwork and prescription. I had to go to the desk and get my prescription. She never got me a wheelchair. I had to walk out on my own without a wheelchair. I will never go back to this hospital. The iv needle was supposed to be changed after 3 days. It was never changed and was left in my hand for 6 hrs. after the iv was removed. I was at the hospital for 8 days.
