March 2018. I went in for gastric surgery and the nurses in the surgery center, one of them did not clean the hand area where the pic line went in. The other nurses was on her cell constantly texting family while entering my information in the computer. I was asked for my DOB again and she said "oops" I'm in someone else records and she continued to text. When I came out of surgery I was in extreme pain, and was told before I would only be nauseated. No one addressed the pain, two days later I was in an emergency room, transferred back to St. Alexius to remove the Obera gastric ball because it collapsed. The only good thing was the floor nurse. Never never never go to this hospital.
