How does the state let this happen??? , they "pass" with being "cited" for "deficiencies" and its back to the same old song and dance, places like this are "necessary" but c'mon, YOU DONT KNOW HELL ON EARTH...until you've been thru it...ppl DIE from overwhelming incompetence, dehydration, oxygen deprivation, mal nutrition, suicide, here's something nobody knows, the hospitals have an unwritten agreement, To send "residents" back to the facility as soon as they are "stabilized" (if you call sending someone back to the "institution" with a pulmonary embolism..."stable" and they die 4 days later ) Just so it doesn't give the "gold mine" "cash cow" business an even blacker eye.. a horrible place to live, even a worse place to die, ppl usually die from incompetence, or they die because they can't take it anymore and stop drinking water, stop eating or stash their meds and overdose b/c their "Dr" doesn't believe their pain is that bad,or even real…(nora B. RIP) yes ppl enter these concentration camps a lot more alive and healthy than when they unknowingly and foolishly enter them, and getting in is easy, getting out isn't, unless its a body bag, I've seen more body bags than ppl actually walking out, The state is worthless, if they really did their job right these "problems" wouldn't happen because the perpetrators would be in prison, along with the profiteers of this horrible death industry, which should be tried for crimes against humanity. If you or I were to do what these ppl do...we'd be in jail, they go right back to "work" at another facility with "experience" in this industry. The state is aware of it, but when was the last time ANYBODY served any time for what they have done? Or for that matter, when was the last time any facility was "shut down" or reformed in anyway? Just doesn't happen, deficiencies equal $$$ too. Its all about MONEY, You couldn't pay me enough to get involved in this "business". I have a soul and a conscience, even though the nightmares are for life, sleep is the only temporary escape, ppl, including the staff hate this place, but they leave and forget it all and put it behind them and the lines (heads in beds) never ever ends, In my opinion these places should be watched and monitored by outside agencies that are in no way affiliated with the profit side of ghetto healthcare...24/7 365 and MAYBE...just 'maybe this would stop.

B4 I HAVE to make a decision to go into another one of these places after the absolute horror I've survived here ( I made the mistake of getting to know75-150 ppl here, and they all left in a body bag) if I am ever faced with this again I swear I will kill myself first. the only reason I gave the "builing 5 stars, is because, apparently all SAVA cares about and the patients/inmates BE DAMNED, This "business for profit" is guilty of just about every crime you could come up with/imagine...

My father recently had a hip replacement done and went to Aspen for rehab. What a great experience it was for him! The staff was very caring and attentive and he recovered more quickly than anticipated. Everyone there treated my father they he was their own family member. I will definitely keep Aspen in mind if we ever need a facility again!
