My dad suffered a major stroke on 4/1/18. He eventually was relocated to this facility in late June or early July of 2018. He was doing ok, but after a month, the facility stopped his physical therapy saying he was not improving. He was in isolation for almost a month for MRSA and bacterial infection which he succumbed to his death on 7-28-18. Please don't take your love ones here for long term care. You wait a long time for anyone to respond. My dad sat in fecal and urine for hours. Medicines were not administered regular and when asked questions, most employees commented "I don't know". When I had visited my dad one day, a nurse was trying to orally give him a cup of medicine for thrush. I said to her should he be taking that while having a trach. She stopped herself and the look on her face she knew she did something horribly wrong. She didn't say much. They are terribly understaffed. Those who can work, won't belittle themselves to help out. Employees are verbally frustrated. Always hearing someone complaining. Just please, please do not take your love one here for long term care.
