Our loved one was placed in this facility about two years ago, when alzheimers took over. After all private funds were used for monthly expenses, medicaid kicked in. Almost instantaneously, levle of care provided to our loved one changed. We placed loved one here thinking continous care for the rest of life would be provided. What a mistake! They cannot handle alzheimers patients that are still able to walk and talk. They send them out to the psychiatric ward of the hospital to handle behavioral issues so that they come back as zombies and they don't have to deal with them! Psychiatrist only visited our loved one ONCE in two years; combination of drugs was NEVER correct and was always "recommended" by nurse practitioner that visited. Our loved one died after being sent out to hospital once again by this facility! Find another facility that specializes in this awful disease and can handle each and every phase on site. Staff turnover is constant, especially unit supervisor. They do not look after patients to make sure they are eating until they have lost so much weight they look like walking skeletons!
