I removed my mother from this facility after she suffered for 5 months with a wound. The staff failed to keep her dry and turn her regularly. As a result, she needed to be seen at the Wound Care Center. Each time her wound healed it opened back up. Enough was enough, I brought her home! Her disposition and health improved dramatically! No more wounds, she was changed regularly throughout the day, instead of once when she was dressed in the morning and was not changed again until she was put in bed in the evening ...hence wound! She never needed pain meds instead of the daily 2x a day 625mg of tylenol and pain patches. She was no longer anxious, she returned to her talkative and pleasant personality that she once had. If you have to place your loved one here, check on them regularly! Don't be fooled, drop in late at night and on the weekends. Check to see if your loved one is going on trips or attended to at resident events. I wish I had never put my mom in this facility but am appreciative of the few aides that truly cared about my mom. If only there were more of them!

Low morale, high turnover and incapable management! Long term care is horrendous. The weekends are reminiscent of a horror show. They pull dietary aides to cover for CNAs that call our sick! I've seen it all in three months! The State should do a surprise inspection on any weekend! Staffing levels are always less than the required minimum. If you're planning to bring you're loved one here, visit during the weekends or evenings when they're at their "best".

Staff: Unfortunately, this nursing home excessively cuts corners. For the most part, I found that the nursing staff did not have the capability to detect dehydration in the patients. This I faced with my elder and others had the same issue. Furthermore, when my elder had excessive bruising, over the normal amount an elderly person has, again the nursing staff and physician staff could not recognize it in time even after it was reported to staff at least three times. Quality of care: While all facilities have issues with qualified aides, there were too many cases of neglect, carelessness, and indifference of these workers which hampered the care of the residents.

Was there for rehabilitation after the surgery. Rehabilitation services were excellent and was able to be discharged in 5 weeks. Food was awful. Majority of patients were there for chronic long term mental and physical problems so it was depressing for people like myself who had their faculties.A doctor billed Medicare for services to me for which they were not rendered. Getting any cooperation from the facility on this matter was impossible
