My grandmother stayed here last year after a hip fracture. When I visited her she couldn't stop telling me how wonderful the therapy staff were. I honestly feel her last few months had improved quality of life due the care she received at Skies.

Many times a call for a nurse to patients room went unanswered for very long periods of time. My father was left in the bathroom for over an hour. This place is severely understaffed and extremely poor communication between the different departments within the staff.

My 79 yr old father with Alzheimer's was sent to Skies for rehab after breaking a hip in March. My mother explained my father was an extreme fall risk and she was concerned he would fall out of bed. She was told by the nurse...."Well, then he falls.". He fell out of bed the first night he was there and fell on his tailbone! Later on he got a bedsore and one month later while he was waiting with other patients to go back to his room, he fell out of his wheelchair and broke his other hip. This is a nice facility, unfortunately there is not enough staff to take care of everyone. My father would not have broken his other hip, if they had not left this group of patients in the dining room by themselves. Within two months of breaking his second hip, he passed away.I would not recommend this facility if the patient needs 24 hour care
