From first impression we should have left and looked for another place for rehab. Many residents roaming the hallways or staying in front of cafeteria and nursing station. If you didn't start looking for someone to help with bathroom, get ready for bed or just to request something it could take up to 45 minutes before someone would answer the call button. Grievance reports would be address by the administration and would get better for a couple of days then go back to their norm. Hard to get a shower even if you were on a schedule. Therapist did not a regular schedule to work with patients. They were often times they would be in " meetings" and would do minimal therapy. There again had to go looking for the therapist to see if they could work with the patient. The smell was unbareable. Everyone there seemed to be in diapers and the bathrooms in the patien rooms were not conducive to having a wheel chair in there. There was only one other bathroom that residents could use so they would have to wait for long period of times. It was also the shower room so was often unavailable. They have deplorable conditions and many workers who tired and don't respond.

Details:

This was such a bad experience for our 95 year old mom who went there after hip surgery to get rehab. The rooms are too small to be wheel chair friendly. They only had one shower facility to provide showers for all their residents on the west wing. Some nights we would wait for 45 minutes to get assistance with getting my mom to bed and changed. Many times the cafeteria would run out of food items from the menu. Many of the residents would sit in front of the cafeteria after breakfast until lunch, then sit there again from lunch until dinner. It was heart breaking to see how little attention residents got unless they had someone to advocate for them. The smell was unbearable at times. When the state would come to visit, everybody looked very busy and all the residents would not be in the hallway or in front of the cafeteria.
