This nursing home is now called Concord HealthCenter of Hartford. I have lots of problems with it as a resident because they allow other residents to threaten you, they lie about you when you didn't do anything or say anything wrong, they also don't inform you of rule changes. The staff have attitude about answering call lights and helping people especially at night. I have seen the nurse on night shift allow the aide to sleep in the den. They also allow certain individuals certain things and not the others. They favor residents. They messed up my SSI amount and told me something different and only when I got upset they had the amount and fixed it within 3 minutes but made me wait a week. I just feel that this is not a safe environment for your loved ones and it is out in the country so its far away from hospitals and from stores and important doctors. I enjoyed this place when I first got here but it is extremely understaffed and there have been a lot of bad changes. I hope you will look elsewhere. Thanks

COVER YOUR FACE & MOUTH WHEN YOU ENTER THIS PLACE BECAUSE YOU WILL VOMIT FROM THE SMELL. DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE IN THIS RAT HOLE. THEY HAVE ABUSED MY BOYFRIEND AND NEGLECTED HIM AND WON'T LET HIM SEE DAYLIGHT. WE CALL TO TALK TO HIM, AND THEY HANG THE PHONE ON US. WE ASKED FOR HIM TO HAVE A BLANKET, THEY CALLED THE POLICE & HAD US ESCORTED OUT. HE ASKED FOR A SANDWICH AND THEY SAID NO. I AM CALLING THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF OHIO AND I WILL BE TELLING HIM THE ABUSE THAT IS GOING ON WITH MY FAMILY MEMBER AND EVERY NURSE IN THAT RAT HOLE WILL BE FIRED FOR ALLOWING THIS NEGLECT & ABUSE TO CONTINUE EVERY DAY. THEY'RE DAY IS COMING, & JUST REMEMBER WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND, I'M SLAPPING A BIG HUGE LAW SUIT ON EVERYONE AT THIS RAT HOLE.
