this was a great place years ago but unfortunately it has changed and not for the better.staff are like robots no personality or compassion. If they spent as much time on resident care etc as they do on bulling and harassing other staff members maby they would get things accomplished.its plain to see the resident's are misrible and any good aids they get up and quit and management could care less.aids sitting in rooms ,eating at the desk, and playing on facebook pretending to chart while call lights are going off for over 20 minutes.where is management when this is happening you ask? idk but let me know when you can find one. This place wants a 5 star then they need to fire 80 % of the usless staff who are bringing this place down.their famous last words are " sorry mrs.doe i cant help you im not your cna today".

Mount St. Rita has changed and has gone downhill. Their continue to tout their US News & World Report, which in 2014 us outdated and based on self reported information while the facilities continues to hide the fact they have had years of financial difficulty resulting in long time staffers departing, being replaced by agency nurses who don't know patients, and the care level has dropped. There are reported fights for board control, and in 2014 they are seeking to sell the facility. it was good there long ago, however that is no longer true, and they are planning additional cuts to staffing. Their administrator, Stephanie, is a liability to the owners. Under her administration, they have lost money, lost staff and the care level is reduced. At this point, there are much better facilities within 30-50 miles.

Once a wonderful facility, the home is understaffed and uses too many pool nurses. Wait time for a call bell to be answered is approx. 20-30 minutes. Meals are frequently the same and offer no variation. The facility is in a beautiful setting and is kept clean.

This facility once had great ratings however they have gone downhill. They have undergone changes and are now short staffed. Management is horrible and difficult to find when there are problems with care. Don't go by US World Report Ratings. There are better places.
