My father has been here 3 days. Although 90% of the staff is friendly, they are not doing enough in regards to care and therapy. He lays in his waste for hours sometimes before anyone changes him. When he has told a nurse he needs to go to the bathroom, they let him lay in bed until he has messed the bed. He was allowed to use a bedside toilet while in the hospital, but now does not even have a bedpan. Then when he is changed, the nurse does not clean him up and puts a diaper on him that she dropped on the floor! He is worse now than before he came in as far as weakness because no one is letting him even sit in a chair. He has bedsores and just wishes he could die. I am trying everything I can to get him out of this place. I wouldn't let these people take care of my dog.

This nursing home should not be recommended to anyone. My mother was admitted for one week of rehab following several debilitating hospital stays. The only therapy received was getting her feet rubbed. She sat in a chair all day long (no exercises). We were advised there was ileostomy care provided however the nurses did not empty bags they took them off and tried to replace them causing mom to have to go to the wound care center for treatment. My sister brought her food while she was at the wound center at the hospital and left it in the refrigerator - when we got back to the facility her food was gone.
