This facility used to be a great place but not any more. We checked my mother in as a rehab patient after hip replacement surgery. She was treated more like a nursing home patient instead. If I or my siblings weren't there she wouldn't have eaten anything(we fed her). Multiple times we requested she needed assistance using the restroom and it always took 15-20 minutes for someone to respond which meant it was to late by then. When moving her in bed she was treated more like a sack of feed than a person and both workers laughed about it. Avoid this place and do the research for a better place! I assumed that it was the same place it used too be.IT IS NOT!!

If you love your family member stay away from this facility.An old outside toilet smells better than this facility and the rooms are nasty. my Dad was so over medicated just to keep hime quiet that he was diagnosed with dimentia....btw, dimentia doesn't come on in less than a week. His food would be left in his room and no one ever offered to help him eat it. He couldn't feed himself. There were times when his tray would be pushed up against the wall and my Dad couldn't walk to get to the food. My Dad didn't deserve the treatment he received at this facility or at Twin Co. Hospital. We now have him in Stuart Blue Ridge Nursing Home and his mind is as clear as a bell. No signs of dimentia at all just taken off of all the psychotic meds that had been prescribed. Elderly people deserve better treatment.....
