Okay. So this is take two since the stupid reCAPTCHA thing failed last time and erased everything. Ok, been a patient here for a little more than 10 years. Left twice for different reasons but convenience of location brought me back. Nothing else would have. The place like to change things and blame government policy on the inconveniences. Most all of the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and treat people with respect. The head counselor is vindictive. She is known for changing rules for individuals she wants to leave, but haven't yet broken any rules. She also will not (or cannot) answer questions about policies in detail, most likely so she can't box herself into a corner when she wants to make up those individual rules. But requesting clarification on a rule shouldn't be controversial. In fairness, no individual rules have been made up for me so that information has come to be secondhand, but it's come from too many people over the years to discount entirely. The biggest problem is that the place moves slow as molasses. I can't say why as I don't know what all behind the scenes stuff happens, but I can tell you that I've guest dosed at places that have moved faster than this place. The other clinics I went to moved much more quickly. The other issue I have is only a very occasional problem for me personally and that's that the clinic needs longer hours. My job sometimes make it very hard for me to make it and I had to give up a chance at a better paying and much more enjoyable position because the hours of the position conflicted with the clinic's hours. Overall, we pay a lot of money to be inconvenienced by limited hours of operation and new "government" rules that only seem to affect this clinic. Most of the people really are very lovely, though.

My husband has been on methadone 3 years now. His first year he still used pills but now he is addicted to the methadone. He does not take the way he is suppose to but to tell his counselor and all he/she does he move his dose up higher. The counselor spends maybe 5 mins with him or anyone and then that person gets pushed out the door. Its like the patients are on a moving conveyor belt going through a fast food place.

This place is nothing but a take your money and run place. they offer a "discount price" for paying for a week upfront instead of daily, but they neglect to give you the discount. Then before you know it they are trying to collect more money. Then one morning after my husband being placed in the hospital in critical condition my son went on Sat. morning with his lockbox to get Sunday's dose only to realize that I had lost the key to his lockbox when I knocked it out of the car. So we go and buy another lockbox go back and then they refuse to give him his Sunday dose, or his money back. These people are scam artists not the helpful people they claim to be. I will soon be posting a blog to let people know just what this place is, right after the state starts an investigation and the BBB is contacted.
