The counselor is a D!@#!!. Where did they get this guy?! He is a failed insurance agent for Gods sake! Spend the money, and get a REAL counselor on staff. This is a nice facility, but they need to actually care about the people they counsel, not try to overpower and rule them like some self righteous power freak. Go somewhere else for your counseling needs, PLEASE DO. Thank You

I agree with a previous review. I recently completed counseling here, and let me tell you what a huge a-hole this guy is. He is an overbearing condecending control freak. He thrives on the conrtol of others by his random pee testing, and his authoritarian attitude towards others. He is the one who needs the counseling, but alas, good shepherd can only afford one counselor. I think there are MUCH better choices of places to look for help. Stay away from this one!

The counselor, has a very poor bedside manner. He talks down to the clients, and belittles their life experiences, causing embarrassment and resentment. A counselor needs to be more receptive to the needs of the people seeking treatment, and not portray himself as being superior in moral fiber and lifestyle, essentially judging all who come for help. I am sure there are other counselors on staff who undoubtedly possess the ability to relate to others with a compassionate heart, and who WANT to help others with their problems and situations. We all need help sometimes, and no one is perfect, but a critical attitude is nonproductive in an environment such as this.
