I wish I could rate all of these below one star. I totally agree with the other complaints. I stayed there as a secret evaluation. I was treated like an animal and am now building a legal case against the staff. They are an embarrassment to healthcare.

This place was like being in jail. No tv's or clocks in your rooms. The staff treats everyone like they are worthless animals. There are just a few nurses that really care. The doctors and nurses lie to their patients. Bascially you are treated like worth human being. Worst place never want to go back there again.

After months of playing phone tag, it took 4-5 months to have them tell me that they could not work with my specific situation being a student in college with an addiction. I never received phone calls or updates about my status in their behavioral health program. They required me to spend large quantities of time in NA and rehab centers just to get prescribed to suboxone or have the monthly injection. The biggest frustration is waiting 2 months before you can be accepted into the program and then NEVER hearing back about your status in the program and having to call the facility back MANY times for updates. This and the fact that having a specialized situation and the doctors not being willing to help on an individualized basis just shows the lack of care to opiate addicts in Northern Kentucky....even though you hear about it in the newspapers every day.. its a joke. They don't realize that anyone they fail to accept into the program who is actually TRYING to get help, is another possible statistic in tomorrows newspapers.

After a failed attempt at suicide the police took me to the BC for the mandatory 72 hours. Because of my age and not my cognitive abilities I was placed in the Geriatric Center. The psychiatrist in charge told me after three days that I was not being released because I had done a very bad thing and should be in jail. I received no psychiatric counseling. The social worker was angry and belligerent even after I was released and went to court. My son tried to transfer me to UC medical for real treatment and was turned down. I was only released for my court appearance. The judge released me. I saw many patients there that needed treatment but received only nurse and staff attendance. I would never recommend this for any person who needed therapy. I received none.

Does anyone else agree with the reviews posted at the bottom? I certainly do. I was treated like an animal, lied to and abused at this facility. I am embarrassed that healthcare staff are allowed to legally function in this manner.
