Good staff, great food. Requires some effort and I think they could use some more yoga. The people who write bad reviews are just not right. It’s a good program!

Pathways saved my life. I've read the bad reviews and they are ridiculous. The detox portion of the program is very well done with constant medical supervision. If you take anti anxiety or other medications, you simply sign a form allowing them to contact your prescribing physician to verify your prescription. Once verified, which takes all of an hour or two, they begin distributing your meds as directed. It is constant meetings and therapy sessions, both group and individual. The physical activity is designed around your physical abilities and the food is fantastic. The only complaint I had was the pillows were too small...small price to pay for getting clean. They work with your insurance company and of course you will have a bill when it's over...again..small price to pay for regaining control of your life. With all that said, they are miracle workers but not magicians. YOU have to want this...otherwise you are wasting your time no matter where you go.

I was recently admitted to Pathways. Some of the staff were extremely rude and if you have insurance they try to keep you forever. I received an extremely large bill after I was discharged. The bill was padded and altered to say the least. They charged me $200 out of pocket a day on top of the amount my insurance company paid for my daily room and board. I asked them to explain why the bill was so high and they stated it was because they took my blood pressure daily and administered over the counter acid re-flux medication. WHAT A RIP OFF!!!! Stay far away from this place. They are insurance frauds!!

This center is a highway robbery. My son is a multiple relapse patient and "the medical team" decided after 18 days he was good to go. They discharged him after 18 days and he was, as expected, bacon drugs within a couple of days.

admittance for my adolescent child took over 6 hours of mostly sitting in a small waiting room. No detailed information taken from me on what had been going on with him. Finance director lied on the phone to get me to come in and then tried to change was she originally told me. Director of the favility (who is absolutely RUDE) agreed to a negotiation on the cost but when I received my final bill it did not reflect our agreement and they refuse to honor it. After my child was finally admitted it took 3 days of ME trying to contact someone there to check on him. I dont believe they did any type of therapy with him while he was there. He was so miserable and going through withdrawel that he went AWOL. Took them another 2 days to make a decision to discharge him and then they refused to facilitate or cooperate on the arrangements that I had made to transfer him elsewhere. They had insurance approval for one more day and were attempting to keep in isolation there to receive payment. Run run run from this place.

This place is amazing. I was scared beyond belief going into treatment but it truely is a wonderful place for rehab. It was a family environment. Nothing forced. The activities we participated in helped us learned one another and ourselves. We had meeting everyday. We had counseling. Breakfast lunch and dinner was nice. The staff was patient, caring, and amazing. You have to want this though. Its a great place.

The staff was very nice people the best thing about the place comfort wise is the food. The beds were horrible, there was suppose to be a gym but all it is a basketball court that you are never able to use. If you have any special medications or need a medication while you are inside unless you have it setup before you go in for intake it takes forever to get. The building itself was old and dirty and it was summer time when I was in there and the a/c broke for the building and there were single a/c-heater units in each bedroom and they barely worked if at all. The people were very nice but a little pushy and they kind of treated you like a child in middle school at times. The last thing that I can point out is that it was like pulling teeth to get a discharge date and if you have any legal trouble they use it to there advantage to get you to do the after care that they want or they will say on your discharge paper that you did not follow there recommendation which makes you look really bad in court.

They would not take my son because he was on methadone but did not tell us this before we got there. They did very little intake on the phone and thought that it was fine to send us away without any referral or help to go anywhere else. They are more worried about thier success rate than helping people.

I never got into Pathways. After 2 days of calling insurance companies, and the institution itself --where the phone frequently rang over 20 times before it was picked up--I was informed that they would not take me in because my shrink said I still needed to take my anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds while I was there and they didn't want to deal with that. It didn't matter that I was/am an alcoholic in need of detox and they wanted $2,800 to check me in. I am disgusted with their policies, their website's false statements and their programs since they claim to deal with drug and alcohol addiction, but apparently do not understand depression.

This the worst facility I have worked in. A young died there from drugs smuggled into facility. The young lady would be living toady if they had Narcan to reverse the effects of an overdose. The director still has her job. There was mold under the rugs and patients refused to enter. Constant bug infestation.

Inpatient in August 2010. I had a wonderful experience. I was given the tools to use on the outside and have just received my 5 month chip. The staff was supportive, empathetic and extremely professional. My one to one sessions with my adviser took place almost daily. I appreciated that the staff was willing to share their experiences with us in group sessions. I knew I was being taught by individuals who had been down the path I would have to follow when I was released. My overall experience was excellent and I have not hesitated to share my experience at Pathways.

I've seen other facilities and this one is the nicest. As an inhouse patient I had a good experience and as an patient in the Intensive Outpatient Program, I was equally pleased.
