This is the worse run clinic ive beeen to. They make it to where your gonna fail. No freedom, no trust. Too hard to work a job and do all of the meetings and groups and everything else they put you through. Why give take home priveliges if you have to come in all the time for groups and family meetings, etc. I drive directly past this clinic now 25 mile to 30 miles to got to another clinic in another state. They have less take home privileges but your there less. This is by far the WORSE clinic out of the 5 ive been to in my life. Ive been clean for ten years on mETH and this place will push you away. Terrible and rude employees.

Staff does not return calls, the clinic director Chuck has no business running this facility!! Understaffed, can't handle the amount of patients there. The nurses are the only ones that do a good job. Many of the counsellors are rude & inexperienced. Dr Shultz is very unprofessional!!

All chuck cares about is the money!! He wont hire the needed nurses or enough nurses to serve the amount of patients they have, so the patients suffer with very very very slow and long waiting service each day! The they want to make rules that they apply only to certain people, like anybody that owes more than $100 can't charge yet I keep seeing some that they stick this to, then other patients that admit they owe $1200 or better but yet can still charge!! And it is loophole mentality to tell any patient they cant charge if they owe more than $100 but does not have they money to pay just until the next day even, but to tell us that we cant charge, but at the same time say to that patient that "I am not saying you can't dose though"!! This is the type of BS that we do as addicts, and here the place we go for treatment for that has that same horrible ethics and loophole mentality!!

I gave a low rating for promptness. This seems to be everybody's main issue with this clinic. The Wheeling clinic is ALWAYS short staffed! If or when the have enough counselors, BUT NEVER enough nurses! They are always so short on the nursing staff that it causes allot of frustration with the patients there! They recently hired just one nurse, when they need AT LEAST 3 more nurses! This is because it takes a nurse or Doctor to actually Dose a patient and the nurses have to constantly stop dosing patients to do all of the many many other jobs that ONLY A NURSE can do by law!! So why hire so many many un-needed counselors when they cant do anything but talk and file paperwork, but only have one or two nurses working each day?!They keep having to schedule dosing window closings and completely stop dosing patients, because the nurses are needed for most of the legal parts of the job, and because they hire TOO MANY COUNSELORS and not enough NURSES that are needed more than the counselors are, for this reason they have to close the dosing windows CONSTANTLY!! THIS is why patients have to wait for long periods of time to be dosed and get to work each day! This facility brings in a whole lot of money, and with no doubts they can AFFORD to hire the needed nurses to better serve the patients, but they wont spend the extra money for the needed nurses!! BUT they constantly worry about any patient who owes them any money at all for their treatment! So this is why patients continuously think that all this clinic staff cares about is their BOTTOM LINE, or the monies that they bring in! The head supervisor (Chuck) is so damn worried about even a few bucks that he recently made a rule that any patient who owes them more than $100 can not charge another dose until paid in full! BUT this rule does not apply to everyone, because I have seen people who they admit they owe many hundreds of dollars but yet they get to still charge, and I owe just a little over $100 and I can't charge, even though I have been there many years now and I have made bills upwards of $500 and ALWAYS paid it in full within a timely manor!! But I have been told NO I can't charge still, while a patient that says he owes them almost $1200 can still charge every day!! I was told that they was not telling me that I can not dose but I can't charge for the day and pay it back even the next day, but if I don't have the money that day, then YES they are TELLING ME THAT I CAN'T DOSE! This is what makes the patients realize that the staff really dose not care about the patients like they try to claim they do, because they are playing loop hole mentality and treating us unfairly when they say that they are not telling us that we can't dose because if we don't have the money to pay for the dose that day, they will not let that patient charge, AND THAT IS TELLING THE PATIENT that they can't dose, whether the staff outright says that or not!! This is childish trickery!! Then the price keeps going up and up, BUT THE PATIENT SERVICE KEEPS GOING DOWN AND DOWN!!! They want more and more money but want to help the patient less for that more money!! If I wasn't a addict and didn't need this place so bad, I would tell them what I really think and leave that place as fast as I could!! But this is why they treat us so bad, just because we are addicts so they know we as patients will take that crappy treatment from them at CRC!!!

I'm afraid its about the bottom line $$$ and are losing site of the human elament. The customers of the Wheeling Treatment Center are real people with feelings, not just a number.

I differ from the other reviews I've read, although it has been over a year since those reviews so maybe things have changed. My experience there has been great. They did my intake the day after I called needing help, their staff has all been great with me, and I've been able to stay clean and the subutex and counseling has truly helped me with any cravings. The line systems have changed and although there is sometimes a small wait to dose, mostly on weekends, it is not the hours others have claimed on this site. There is no pre-pay line, any window can collect money now. In regards to the nurses, they have all been respectful and I don't see any of the issues that others on this site described. TO ANYONE NEEDING HELP...I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC TO MY FAMILY MEMBERS IF THEY NEEDED IT SO IF ANYONE READING THIS NEEDS AND WANTS HELP THIS CLINIC WILL PROVIDE...BUT REMEMBER YOU MUST BE READYING AND WILLING TO HELP YOURSELF AND THE CLINIC WILL ASSIST YOU. GOOD LUCK...I'M UNDER 30 AND HAVE BEEN BATTLING MY ADDICTION FOR YEARS...I'M FINALLY WINNING AND SO CAN YOU!!!!

I gave the place a poor rating because of the way that the treat people, the counslors are rude and uncaring, will embarass you in front of everyone. The male counslors cross the line with women, I was sexual harrassed by one, but had to keep my mouth shut because of my bill, was to afraid to get kicked out!! Chris is never there to see what is happening all he is woried about is the money. I lost 2 jobs because of the line crap, you got to pay anyway at the window for the next day so it doesn't matter if your a day a head anyway. The let certain people all messed up on Zannies Dose anyway I'm highly surprised that more people aren't killed on the way home because of them,a nurse goes out to drink w/ patients. Chris calls her at home. If crc wants to be a success they need to get rid of him, Chris Byers!!!

The way the center seems to schedule their staff is terrible! 98% of the time, there is a line of no less than 20 people and you have to wait to get your daily medicine. For those who have to be at work, they have to go there over two hours before they have to report to work so they are not late for work. It is terrible the way they have a system of lines that no one seems to use!

Well first off i dont like how they let everyone there basically know yur fincial status by having two seperate lines one for those of us who are paid up and those of us who have to pay on a daily basis or have to charge cause they are a little short on cash it embarrassing not to mention ridiculous how long uhave to wait to dose if you have to stand in the pay/charge line like they have nowhere to be like work or even kids that may have dr. apps. or dentist apps. or maybe even school, now what i mean is u better plan on being there for a couple of hours if you need to charge or pay for ur dose that day cause not only do you have to wait for everyone who is paid up in advance to go but if people keep coming through the door and are paid up you got o wait for them to dose in front of you before u can even go to the window and pay or tell them u are charging u must then go stand in the prepaid line and wait to get up to ur turn again now to me this makes no sense cause even if im paid up and i need to put more money on my books i got to pay when i get up to the window anyways so whats the diference between that and having to pay or tell them your charging that day when u get to the window to dose there is none and the two line crap is wrong and is discrimination in my opinion. It makes going to the clnic a pain and makes using on the street sound better every time u have stand in that pay/charge line. Now the next reason is i go there to get clean and give me and my kids a better life, but boy can those nurses be really rude to u and make u feel belittled sometimes u just want to go off but cant cause u risk getting kicked out. The counselors and the docs are awesome though. All and all going to the clinic is the best decision ive ever made and i must say im at the best point in my life than ive been at in a really long time so thank you very much for that

You know i go to this clinic and i go there so i can get clean and have a normal life but i tell u they have a tendency to make u feel like a piece of you know what and literally try to embarrass people. You know some of us who come there haqve jobs we need to get to and the service to dose can be so slow at times and the most frustrating and embarrassing thing is they have two line the one for the people who are paid up for days inadvance and the line for people who are paying that day for their dose or have to charge becasue its a day or two from pay day and ur broke. Now let me tell u f you have to pay that day for your dose or have to charge i feel sorry for u cause not onlydoes everyone know ur broke but your going to be there for awhile because in order to get to dose u must stand in this line and wait for everyone who is paid up to go and no matter how many people come through the door if they are paid up they go in front of u and when you finally get to go u have to go to the window and pay or tell them your charging u must then go stand in the prepaid line and wait again for that line to move until its your turn to finally dose its ridiculous and embarrassing and not to mention pointless now 9 out of 10 times im pid up but even if your paid up and u need to put more money o yur books you gotta pay when you get to the window to dose anyways so wheres the difference in paqying then or having to standin the other line and g pay and then get in the oher lin to dose after youve done so its just bull iyou ask me you know people do have jobs to get to and maybe kids to get o places like dr. appointments or denist app. or school but who cares right just cause they are a little short on cash make them feel like crap and make the clinic become very inconvient for them I mean who wants to come if thats what you have to go through if there was a system to it where 1 person from te prepaid line dosed and then one from the pay/charge line got to go up and take care of there business to get in the dose line that be cool but no system in place. Now not only that but sometimes the nurses atthe windows can be so rude and belittle you so much that u just want to go off on them but you cant cause your here to get clean and get the help you need notget kicked out. The counselors are great they are the best part of the clinic honestly and the docs are awesome. All in all its the best decsion ive ever made in my life to go there im at th best point ive been at in years with my life and its great i can say thank you for that. And in my opion there should be two lines for take homes and people who dose daily at the clinic cause by can that really hold you up to for awhile as well.
