My father was placed in this nursing home. They had no hot water for his showers and they couldn't take the time to do much of anything for him. They over medicated him daily which eventually killed him in less than a year of being there. After his passing they let him lay in his bed for 3 hours before they had anyone remove the body. The nurses working there are very mean and forceful with the patients. Lots of abuse going on in this home and also lots of covering things up. They put on a good show but in the end they over medicate patients so they don't have to deal with the patients. When I asked for medication charts they were very ticked off and they also made changes with his medication chart before they would give it to me. I would think twice before I ever placed another loved one in this horrible place.

I have to say that I am very sorry for your loss, and I used to work in this place. I was an aide on the morning shift. I know it won't help bring your father back, but I have been writing some nasty letters to the newspapers. One of them is supposed to be out by next week. I have called state several times, but that doesn't seem to help.
