Unfortunately, the quality of care is very poor. If you are truly trying to get clean, this is not a facility you want to go to. They do not rehabilitate you. People in there need to get the proper therapy and meetings. This place will trigger you and if you have any kind of trauma- you will not make it. They need more staff. They have the addicts running the house rather than the workers. It is horrible that a place like this that could help so many people runs the way it does. This place sets addicts up for failure. Most people are mandated to be here. Yes- maybe it seems better to go here than jail or prison, but if you are court mandated you will probably not make it anyway. If you have a family member in here please advocate to get them sent somewhere else. The phone calls are supervised and the mail is read so the addict is unable to speak freely and at will.

Everything you said is tru!!!!!! They make you sit in the corner for hours and work like a slave. Being at Damon House screwed me up in the head for a long time. Most people that leave get PTSD. What kind of place puts you in the corner and makes you do laundry for hours like a slave. That’s what you are to them a slave. People leave there and use because of what you go through in there.
